Reflection

Putting together this dissertation was a bit challenging for me because I feel my previous research methodology work in the last semester was extremely poor due to personal issues. My reading as well as research honestly wasn't thorough enough, and my documentation of the critical reviews, justifications for research methods, pretty much everything was quite lacking. Therefore when we started our dissertation classes this semester I found myself lost and a bit shocked that I didn't even know much about my own topic or even my sources. Thus, it was a struggle to continue it with such a weak foundation and I often wished I could redo the research methodology all over again properly. I was worried I would get really behind all my classmates again. Nevertheless, I tried my best to make up for the previous semester's work by going through all my sources again thoroughly, making more notes and doing more additional research as well as brushing up the previous semester's work like  my critical reviews and problem statements. In the end, I'm quite happy with how my dissertation turned out in general despite the rough start. I enjoyed being able to have a writing/research subject that gives us a break from just design work all the time.
