My concept to incorporates references to popular movies and pop culture to appeal to Gen Y such as Alice in Wonderland, Matrix, Inception and Cinderella, and weaving in hybrid either through the line or within the visual concept itself. I sketched out some legs ideas and went on to digitalise it.

Reflection
Experience:
This has probably been the most challenging module of the semester for me. I find Ihave probably spent the most time on this module, especially what with extra classes. However, learning about advertising is certainly crucial for us as design students. What we have learnt in this module will certainly be useful in our further studies and careers as designers.
This has probably been the most challenging module of the semester for me. I find Ihave probably spent the most time on this module, especially what with extra classes. However, learning about advertising is certainly crucial for us as design students. What we have learnt in this module will certainly be useful in our further studies and careers as designers.
Observation:
The
most crucial part of the module is obviously the final project. At first, I
found Project 1 and Project 2 very confusing as I did not understand the
purpose of it, but later on I could see how it connected and builds up to help
us for the final project.
Findings:
I find that I need to work faster in order to be able to manage and allocate my time more efficiently. I learnt to be constantly aware of advertising that surrounds me, both good and bad. I realised that I will be required to produce work in a way different from what I would prefer in order to accomodate the brief/client needs. I have also found that to achieve a certain standard of work, multiple drafts and attempts will be needed. I have also found that time management is likely my biggest weakness which I need to work on. I found the extra classes required for this module to be quite stressful and time consuming especially if I had already made plans for that day/time period, as our extra classes took up the one day we didn't have class.
